Statement of intent
My target audience will be those who are conscious about looking good and also those who like to go out and enjoy
the outdoors. Both my magazine will have content on fashion and a few other topics for examples a bit on football
and cars. Both my covers will be shot in studio conditions but I will use colour to instantly show if it is the summer
or winter issue.
My magazine will be called Dashing and there will be an smart and clear style to the
magazine as well. My first cover will feature a male model dressed in a young trendy jumper and cap. He will be
shot in a studio environment. The cover will feature the magazine name ‘Dashing’ along the top stretched from the
left border to the right border. The model will be slightly off set to the side so I can feature more articles down either
the left or right side of the magazine. My contents page will feature a mixture of images and articles. I will have all
my articles laid out in a vertical table style. My second cover will be shot in studio settings. For this cover I wish to
have a black and orange themed outfit and backdrop. The model will be in plain style shirt but with summary props
and background. Similar to the first cover he will be slightly offset to allow room for featured articles.The second
content page will also have the same layout as the first. The model will be featured in a smaller image that takes
up far less of the page. I will do this to allow for more room for other articles some of which will be accompanied
by images.
